Base Salary
$146k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for secure software delivery and deployment.
- Integrate static analysis, dynamic analysis, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks into development workflows.
- Embed security controls early in the software development lifecycle and improve application and infrastructure security posture.
- Automate patch management, configuration, compliance, and other DevSecOps processes.
- Maintain and upgrade DevOps environments and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible.
- Implement container security practices and manage Kubernetes and ContainerD environments.
- Respond to security incidents involving deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure, including root cause analysis and remediation.
- Develop and maintain monitoring and logging solutions for security events and operational issues.
- Document DevSecOps processes and stay current with security and DevOps technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud DevSecOps is required.
- At least 5 years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes is required.
- At least 3 years of experience integrating SAST, DAST, and vulnerability scanners into CI/CD pipelines is required.
- The candidate must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance after starting; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. Government.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant engineering, science, mathematics, data science, or computer science degree with 9+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree with 13+ years of directly related experience, or 17+ years of related experience.
- Preferred experience includes 10+ years in DevOps or Cloud Engineering and hands-on experience with Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar tools.
- Preferred scripting experience includes Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Preferred Infrastructure as Code experience includes Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist, or CISSP are a plus.
- Candidates must complete Boeing’s CodeVue technical assessment as part of the selection process.
