Responsibilities
- Research and develop efficient deep learning architectures and models for AI-enabled camera and extended-reality applications.
- Develop algorithms for face analytics, facial expression recognition, face synthesis, face editing, and 3D face reconstruction from 2D images.
- Design and implement robust, high-performance computer vision and computer graphics software.
- Optimize deep learning models through pruning, compression, and quantization for execution on edge devices.
- Design computer vision algorithms and integrate machine learning algorithms into camera systems.
- Drive technical ideas from initial design through commercialization.
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field; the stated minimum qualifications also allow a bachelor’s degree with additional experience.
- At least 3 years of professional deep learning software development experience in computer vision, computer graphics, or related applications.
- At least 5 years of experience developing practical deep learning algorithms using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or another deep learning framework.
- Strong background in computer vision or computer graphics, machine learning and deep learning fundamentals, mathematics, calculus, and statistics.
- Proficiency in Python or C/C++, with excellent C++ and object-oriented programming skills preferred.
- Academic publications in computer vision research at leading conferences or journals such as PAMI, IJCV, NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV, ICLR, and ICML.
- Experience with DiT, U-Nets, ResNets, transformers, diffusion models, face analytics, high-resolution face editing, VLMs, data synthesis, and edge-device model optimization is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, self-motivation, willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively as a team member.
