Responsibilities
- Define and drive solution architecture for enterprise applications.
- Lead technical design activities and support implementation across distributed delivery teams.
- Modernize and evolve complex legacy systems.
- Design solutions that are scalable, maintainable, secure, and high-performing.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, DevOps, business stakeholders, and distributed teams.
- Support delivery throughout the full software development lifecycle.
- Promote engineering best practices and architectural standards across teams.
- Influence technical direction and long-term architecture decisions for a business-critical enterprise programme.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software development and solution architecture.
- Strong Java background, including Java EE/Jakarta EE and enterprise-scale application delivery.
- Expertise in database design and development, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with Eclipse RCP, SWT, JFace, and WildFly Application Server.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Experience leading legacy-system modernization and supporting long-term technology roadmaps.
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Maven, and Azure DevOps is advantageous.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with geographically distributed technical and non-technical stakeholders.
