Sr Lead Software Engineer
JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Define requirements and deliver robust software solutions with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Design and implement LLM-driven agent services for design, code generation, documentation, test creation, and observability on AWS.
- Develop orchestration and communication layers between agents using A2A SDK, LangGraph, and AutoGen.
- Integrate AI agents with Jira, Bitbucket, GitHub, Terraform, and monitoring platforms.
- Collaborate on system design, SDK development, and data pipelines supporting agent intelligence.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
- Drive adoption, governance, validation standards, and reuse of approved AI-assisted software engineering practices across teams.
- Improve software development lifecycle and technical operations through automation, AI-assisted code review, testing, troubleshooting, release readiness, and root-cause analysis.
- Make decisions influencing product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Experience in software engineering using AI technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Pydantic, FastAPI, LangGraph, vector databases, RAG-based AI agents, multi-agent orchestration, and AWS deployments using EKS, Lambda, S3, and Terraform.
- Experience integrating LLMs and using prompt/context engineering, LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, MCPs, and A2A.
- Understanding of Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, APIs, observability, and monitoring platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development and validate AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations, including coaching senior engineers and leads.
- Ability to independently solve design and functionality problems with little to no oversight.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
- Preferred: experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Preferred: familiarity with MLOps, including CI/CD for ML, model monitoring, automated deployment, and ML pipelines.
