Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for Aptiv’s Factory Information System while meeting quality standards and project timelines.
- Analyze, design, implement, and globally deploy Factory Information System applications and functionality.
- Develop knowledge of manufacturing processes to integrate and optimize IT solutions across production environments.
- Support system operations, incident management, troubleshooting, and problem resolution as a technical subject matter expert.
- Coordinate deployments across global manufacturing sites and support operational continuity.
- Provide technical guidance on application functionality, system configuration, and integration capabilities.
- Help manufacturing sites connect and integrate new production equipment with the Factory Information System.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related technical field.
- At least four years of experience in IT or software development, preferably with mission-critical, high-volume transactional systems.
- Strong programming skills in object-oriented languages such as C# or VB.NET.
- Experience with scripting languages such as TCL, Python, or Bash.
- Knowledge of Red Hat Linux environments and Linux-based applications.
- Experience with MariaDB or MySQL databases.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher and the ability to collaborate with international teams.
