Responsibilities
- Develop software according to quality standards and delivery timelines.
- Build an in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Participate in the investigation, design, and global deployment of the Factory Information System.
- Provide technical subject-matter expertise for ongoing operations, including incident management and problem resolution.
- Coordinate new system deployments globally.
- Consult with production sites on application functionality, configuration, and interfacing capabilities.
- Assist production sites with connecting new equipment to the Factory Information System.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Technology.
- At least four years of IT experience involving software development for mission-critical, transactional systems that process high volumes of data.
- Ability to develop software using object-oriented languages such as C# and VB.NET.
- Ability to use scripting languages such as TCL, Python, and Bash.
- Experience with Red Hat Linux-based application environments.
- Knowledge of MariaDB or MySQL databases.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
