Base Salary
$40k - $80k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assist with software engineering, web development, and system operations and maintenance activities.
- Develop and maintain a web-based thin-client application and backend services.
- Participate in designing and developing new capabilities and applications.
- Derive requirements through collaboration with project management and systems engineering teams.
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications under supervision.
- Follow software deployment best practices and configuration management workflows.
- Support integration testing efforts and contribute to multidisciplinary technical solutions.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of user interfaces, cross-browser compatibility, web functions, and web standards.
- Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, CSS, Groovy, Grails, Angular, web services, object-oriented design, and security principles.
- General knowledge of Python and Java for backend development.
- Some programming skills or experience.
- Basic knowledge of Docker containers.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab, and CI/CD development philosophies.
- No clearance is required to begin, but obtaining a TS/SCI clearance is required for continued employment.
