Responsibilities
- Manage systems and services that provide reliable and scalable solutions in collaboration with Product teams.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery using DevOps tools and methods.
- Monitor systems, analyze metrics, troubleshoot issues, and implement operational best practices.
- Create cloud architectures and designs based on project requirements.
- Develop processes and integrate new and emerging technologies.
- Build solutions based on customer needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an in-person, accredited, not-for-profit university.
- 7+ years of experience with automation, including configuration management, scripting, infrastructure as code, and security.
- 7+ years of experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises environments, including AWS, VMware, and Azure.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language: C#, Node.js, Golang, Python, or Rust.
- 4+ years of experience managing highly available environments, CDNs, and load-balancing technologies, including ALB, NLB, F5, Akamai, or Cloudflare.
- 4+ years of experience with APM, synthetic monitoring, and real user monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, or AppDynamics.
- 4+ years of experience managing containerized environments and related infrastructure, including Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, and Fargate.
- Experience with Helm, YAML, Terraform, ArgoCD, and Chef.
- Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.
- Some development background in a coding language is preferred.
- Familiarity with PCI compliance and remediation is preferred.
- Experience with REST API or microservices development is preferred.
- Experience training other engineers is preferred.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers is required.
