Responsibilities
- Own product development end to end, from shaping ideas through building, testing, and measuring production performance.
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and embedded components across frontend, backend, and full-stack systems.
- Develop the self-serve integration experience, including Connect activation, payment API exposure, and multi-sub-merchant support.
- Build and contribute to large-scale systems capable of handling high transaction volumes efficiently.
- Work with the Product Manager to shape the self-serve product track and make product trade-off decisions.
- Challenge existing ideas, contribute opinions, and bring new solutions to the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with genuine full-stack range.
- Strong frontend engineering skills with React, React Native, and TypeScript, plus the ability to design and reason about complex backend systems.
- Experience building embedded components for platform or infrastructure use cases.
- Ability to own features end to end across frontend and backend.
- Product mindset with curiosity and comfort making decisions in complex, ambiguous environments.
- Ability to weigh technical and product trade-offs while working across multiple interacting systems.
