Base Salary
$112k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a framework for model-driven computations on a graph.
- Design and build infrastructure APIs for grid computing, data storage, and data access.
- Unit test compute pipelines and improve their reliability and quality.
- Develop Python expertise and apply ecosystem, community, and best-practice knowledge.
- Contribute ideas to and implement improvements for the model and data platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years developing Python, C, or C++ packages and APIs.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and programming languages.
- Fluency in Python and working knowledge of a compiled language such as C, C++, or Java.
- Exposure to numerical libraries such as Pandas and NumPy and to data processing.
- Ability to reason about program behavior across abstraction levels from hardware to applications.
- Experience with web services and the Flask or Django ecosystem is preferred.
- Experience with large-scale scientific computing and algorithm development is preferred.
- Long-term interest in finance, financial experience is not required.
- Experience contributing to open-source projects is preferred.

- Full-time position.
- Primary location salary range of $111,600.00–$161,600.00.
