Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, and optimize the Layer 3 RRC protocol stack.
- Support UE emulation.
- Follow 3GPP evolution and contribute to 5G standards.
- Translate 3GPP releases, operator acceptance needs, and O-RAN priorities into software designs, test workflows, and reusable components.
- Collaborate with systems, RF, protocol, product, customer, and partner teams to reproduce field issues, debug complex behaviors, and validate fixes using root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in 3GPP LTE and NR, with a focus on Layer 3 RRC protocols.
- Proficiency in C and C++.
- Experience with multithreading and real-time programming.
- Software development and debugging experience.
- Experience working in a multi-site environment.
- Technical communication skills in English.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD, test frameworks, containers, and cloud-based environments.
- Experience with Git, Valgrind/Polaris, JIRA, and Wireshark.
