Responsibilities

  • Execute functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and API-based testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and communicate findings to development teams.
  • Create and maintain test cases, test data, and QA documentation.
  • Support user acceptance testing and release validation activities.
  • Validate website content, product information, and customer-facing functionality.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and QA engineers on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Communicate testing status, risks, and issues to team members and stakeholders.
  • Learn and apply quality engineering best practices, testing methodologies, and automation tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 0–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability and desire to learn new technologies, systems, and business processes while managing multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of web technologies, APIs, or test automation concepts is a plus.
  • Preferred exposure to API testing and familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, Postman, or browser developer tools.
  • Experience working on team projects in a professional, academic, or internship environment is preferred.
