Responsibilities
- Build and extend enterprise-wide platforms supporting scalable GenAI-native production across shows.
- Evaluate algorithm developments against creative requirements and package successful workflows for artists and technical directors.
- Define distributed compute and workstation requirements and provide APIs for show-specific integrations.
- Prototype workflows in production, gather artist feedback, and improve usability and performance.
- Develop tools to manage generated assets and materials and establish studio standards.
- Maintain production tracking and review tooling and standardize workflows across productions.
- Support artists and technical directors with common show-environment tooling and APIs.
- Provide infrastructure monitoring tools and reports covering hardware and software usage.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to maintain reliable, secure, and compliant systems.
- Participate in project meetings and code reviews and support interns and other team members.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, preferably supporting animation studios and pipelines or GenAI workflows and pipelines.
- Passion for empowering and partnering with creative teams and production staff.
- Ability to independently own medium-to-large features and drive project goals.
- Working knowledge of scalable inference and training technologies and eagerness to expand expertise.
- Ability to translate workflow needs into standardized solutions.
- Familiarity with modern and emerging software development technologies, such as Claude Code, and the ability to integrate scalable workflows using Netflix’s internal solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate show-based solutions into deployable common workflows.
- Familiarity with building and maintaining secure systems serving multiple show environments.

- The posting states a total compensation range of $250,000-$372,250 and no bonuses; this is excluded from base salary classification.
