Base Salary
$196k - $294k/yr
Responsibilities
- Train and deploy large-scale machine learning models in production to improve customer outcomes.
- Build AI engines and agents that create and execute marketing experiences, strategies, and campaigns.
- Introduce conversational AI interfaces into Klaviyo’s software.
- Develop generative AI models that generate marketing content from customer context.
- Own the full ML product lifecycle, including success metrics, A/B testing, iteration, and long-term production maintenance.
- Lead technical projects, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and mentor other team members.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, or related fields.
- Track record of leading large-scale AI or machine learning projects launched in products with significant user or customer impact.
- Experience with Hugging Face, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, and distributed training tools such as Spark or Ray.
- Experience developing, deploying, owning, and maintaining machine learning models in production.
- Experience defining success metrics, designing and analyzing A/B tests, and iterating based on results.
- Experience leading technical projects with engineering teams and product managers to deliver customer-facing features.
- Experience mentoring others.
- Preferred experience with recommendation systems, retrieval and ranking systems, B2B businesses, direct customer interaction, technical roadmaps, and fine-tuning and productionizing transformer-based models or large language models at scale.
