Responsibilities
- Build and rapidly iterate end-to-end agentic MVPs using Python, LLM frameworks, APIs, and databases.
- Spin up vector and relational databases and Docker containers for real-world testing.
- Design and assess architectures including API wrappers, lightweight RAG, and function calling.
- Create evaluation pipelines and labeled ground-truth datasets to measure accuracy, hallucinations, latency, cost, and ROI.
- Analyze differences between agent outputs and human decisions during pilots.
- Test AI models and tools against internal benchmarks and support stakeholders with prompts and business logic.
- Assess workflows and agentic feasibility with strategy teams.
- Translate validated MVPs into technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and data flows for the core AI platform team.
- Partner with the AI platform team to integrate MVP logic into internal SDKs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience with strong Python and rapid prototyping skills.
- Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, including tool use, RAG, structured outputs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, LiteLLM, or APIs.
- Proficiency in API design, SQL, and relational and vector databases.
- Experience with evaluation frameworks such as Ragas, DeepEval, or LangSmith.
- Ability to convert complex business logic into concise engineering specifications.
- Familiarity with FastAPI, Docker, or serverless deployment stacks is preferred.
- Experience as a Forward-Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, or in a similar fast-delivery role is preferred.
- Travel technology, airline distribution, payments, product management, ROI tracking, KPI, or user-validation experience is preferred.
