Responsibilities
- Develop and refine GitLab CI pipelines and supporting Go and Python tools for service-oriented repositories.
- Improve local environment setup tools and promote reproducible builds using Go and Nix.
- Gather requirements from users, propose improvements, and provide technical support for their challenges.
- Collaborate across teams to align build automation tools with evolving project needs and industry standards.
- Develop solutions that improve the usability, compatibility, and efficiency of CI tools.
- Influence the technical direction of Build Automation projects.
Requirements
- Programming proficiency in Go and Python.
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience implementing CI/CD concepts with GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of Nix, including build isolation and reproducibility concepts.
- Professional experience with AWS.
- Experience with observability tools including DataDog, Kibana, and Grafana.
- Experience creating detailed technical documentation.
- Experience troubleshooting issues with users.
