Responsibilities
- Review software requirements and specifications to create and execute testing strategies.
- Develop reusable test functions or components.
- Perform manual and automated testing across multiple systems, platforms, environments, and browsers.
- Collect, compile, and analyze software test metrics and performance data.
- Identify, log, and track defects and report technical issues to development or product management teams.
- Verify software fixes and resolve complex testing issues with minimal supervision.
- Gather requirements and translate customer needs into team goals.
- Collaborate and share information with development and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of experience in the federal government, DoD, Navy, DHA, or private sector preferred.
- Experience with software testing and requirements applications such as JIRA and ALM.
- Experience with automated testing and various testing tools is a plus.
- Certifications in IAT Level II and SAFe for Teams are preferred.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain or hold Public Trust clearance.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
