Responsibilities
- Support teams in remediating security issues and vulnerabilities according to best practices.
- Contribute to security training and education programs.
- Integrate security practices throughout the software development lifecycle with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Support compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor emerging threats and industry trends and recommend improvements to the security posture.
- Implement and manage security tools and technologies for application security.
- Help build a robust cybersecurity culture across the organization.
Requirements
- Background in software development, web application penetration testing, infrastructure, and networking.
- Knowledge of common application security vulnerabilities, including the OWASP Top 10, and mitigation techniques.
- Experience with Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, and Metasploit.
- Proficiency in Java and Python.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and task-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
