Base Salary
$105k - $128k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, enhance, and optimize weapon planning software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle.
- Translate customer requirements into initial software product designs with the Product Owner.
- Develop and integrate software components, architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs.
- Debug and resolve technical issues to maintain software reliability and efficiency.
- Document software designs, interface specifications, and test plans.
- Develop, establish, monitor, and improve software processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least 5 years of software development experience.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, C#, and/or C++.
- Experience developing and using REST-style APIs.
- Experience with Agile software development, project tracking tools, version control, configuration management, unit testing, integration testing, and system-level validation.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for the clearance and export-control requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant engineering, science, mathematics, data science, or computer science degree with related experience, or equivalent directly related experience.
- Preferred experience includes defense, aerospace, or mission-critical software, OMS or open architecture systems, cybersecurity and secure coding, modular software design, standardized interfaces, software architecture, design patterns, .NET MAUI, containerization, and build pipelines.
