Base Salary
$66k - $119k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain websites, web applications, mobile applications, and supporting software systems.
- Write, test, debug, deploy, update, and enhance front-end and back-end software.
- Build and maintain databases, APIs, system integrations, and database queries or stored procedures.
- Develop responsive user interfaces and server-side functionality for web applications.
- Design, manage, and optimize PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and other relational or non-relational databases.
- Troubleshoot software defects and technical issues and provide technical support.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, usability, and compatibility across browsers, operating systems, and mobile devices.
- Apply secure coding practices, assist with vulnerability remediation and security testing, and implement secure authentication methods.
- Maintain technical documentation and version-control repositories and support software testing, quality assurance, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, project managers, stakeholders, and end users to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Requirements
- At least four years of web and application development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; four additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.
- Equivalent combinations of education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
- Active Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within one year.
- Experience with mobile application development, cloud services, and enterprise applications is preferred.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and secure coding practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes is preferred.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance is preferred.
