Base Salary
$197k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and execute the architecture and technical direction for Roblox Studio.
- Build core user features including UI frameworks, windowing systems, and code generation.
- Develop well-integrated AI features within Roblox Studio.
- Work on application architecture, OS integration, the third-party plugin ecosystem, and central backend systems.
- Own complex technical projects from planning through execution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with UX designers and teams across technology platforms.
- Mentor team members and improve engineering practices, patterns, and strategies.
- Help build a professional application for massively multiplayer game development.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing and deploying user-facing applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar technical field.
- At least 1 year of experience with C++.
- Proficiency with industry standards, best practices, testability, and design patterns.
- Strong organization and analytical skills for tracking multiple workstreams.
- Experience with UI frameworks such as React, Cocoa, or WPF is a plus.
