Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for real-time telemetry, sensor, and video data ingestion and processing.
- Develop automation frameworks and internal tooling for data workflows across STARK programs.
- Architect cloud infrastructure and data storage solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Collaborate with hardware, embedded, and software engineering teams on data models, interface specifications, and telemetry schemas.
- Optimize data-processing pipelines for high throughput, memory efficiency, and sub-second execution.
- Implement data-quality, monitoring, and alerting systems to detect anomalies and operational issues.
- Maintain software engineering standards including unit testing, continuous integration and deployment practices, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in similar relevant roles.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Rust, or Go.
- Hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines and data-processing systems.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and object storage.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience processing high-volume telemetry, sensor, or video data streams.
- Experience creating developer tooling, CLI utilities, and automated continuous integration and deployment workflows.
- A strong foundation in software engineering and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts is preferred.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Familiarity with defence, aerospace, or robotics applications is preferred.
