Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior technical architect and authority for common OCI services, including Compute, Networking, VCN, Storage, IAM, and Compartments.
  • Lead and oversee OCI migrations for Oracle eBusiness Suite, Oracle Fusion Middleware, and WebLogic environments while maintaining operational continuity.
  • Direct DevSecOps pipeline implementation, Terraform-based infrastructure as code, and automated test framework design.
  • Design and maintain production-to-disaster-recovery/COOP replication architecture, including GoldenGate topology, RPO/RTO design, and failover validation.
  • Conduct OCI fit/gap analyses, pilot services, and manage Oracle OEM escalation paths.
  • Own architecture documentation, integration control documents, interface mappings, migration plans, security/RMF documentation, and DR/COOP design products.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership to engineers across OCI, database, integration, IAM, analytics, and GRC disciplines.
  • Support technical risk identification and mitigation, Oracle licensing and roadmap assessments, and AI/ML governance within the Cloud One authorization boundary.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and ISSO personnel to implement RMF controls, maintain ATOs, and support DoD and SOC 1 Type 2 compliance.
  • Advise on AI/ML integrations using authorized data and OCI-native services.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field are required.
  • At least 8 years of progressive Oracle and cloud architecture experience is required.
  • At least 5 years of direct hands-on experience with OCI Compute, Networking, VCN, Storage, IAM, and Compartments in a federal, DoD, or large-enterprise environment is required.
  • Deep experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Database including RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN, and Oracle GoldenGate is required.
  • Experience conducting formal Oracle technology trade studies, producing architecture decision records, and leading OCI environment migrations is required.
  • An active Oracle Cloud certification, such as OCI Architect Professional or Oracle Integration Cloud, is required.
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required at the start of employment.
  • An active DoD 8140/8570 IAT-II-or-higher certification is required, with qualifying certifications including Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, SSCP, GICSP, CND, CASP+ CE, CISSP, CISA, CCNP Security, GCED, or GCIH.
  • Preferred qualifications include an active Top Secret clearance, a relevant master's degree, DoD Cloud One or DISA-managed cloud experience, IL4/IL5 authorization experience, and familiarity with DISA approval processes.
  • Preferred experience includes OCI GoldenGate Microservice, OCI IAM SSO Asserter, Oracle Unified Directory, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Risk Management Cloud, Terraform on OCI, DoD DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines, AFLCMC, BES, DoD ERP programs, DESMF, RMF/ATO, SOC 1 Type 2, ITIL, DevSecOps, Agile/SAFe, and DoD 8570/8140 certifications.
