Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and development of a scalable Python backend platform.
- Build and enhance robust analysis and data-processing pipelines.
- Process and systematically evaluate structured and unstructured web content.
- Integrate and operate AI components such as ML models and LLMs.
- Develop and maintain high-performance APIs.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high code quality.
- Contribute to architecture and development standards.
- Reduce technical debt and continuously improve existing systems.
- Collaborate closely with product management and the development team.
- Take responsibility for technical decisions beyond the candidate’s own code.
Requirements
- Completed training or university studies in computer science, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience in Python backend development.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and scalable applications.
- Experience with data-intensive or analytical systems, such as data pipelines.
- Experience handling structured and unstructured data.
- Confident API design and development skills, including REST.
- Experience with different database systems, including relational and NoSQL databases.
- Initial experience with AI/ML applications such as NLP or LLMs is preferred.
- Structured, quality-conscious working style, teamwork, and personal responsibility.
