Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and enhance production software across the ENFOS platform.
- Build responsive user interfaces and reusable components using React and TypeScript.
- Develop backend services, business logic, integrations, and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Process, validate, transform, and present complex environmental, financial, and transactional data and documents.
- Contribute to AI-enabled features such as document intelligence, natural-language interfaces, automation, and forecasting where applicable.
- Investigate requirements, evaluate technical approaches, troubleshoot issues, and implement maintainable solutions.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services, APIs, databases, and platform capabilities.
- Improve application performance, reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
- Follow standards for architecture, testing, code reviews, security, documentation, and code quality.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and implementation teams.
- Use GitLab, Docker, automated testing, CI/CD, and enterprise development workflows while receiving technical mentorship.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and core computer science concepts.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience building software through coursework, personal projects, internships, research, or other hands-on development.
- Understanding of modular design, debugging, testing, and maintainable code.
- Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ability to learn unfamiliar technologies.
- Interest in using AI-assisted development tools effectively.
- Experience with frontend, backend, data and AI, databases, platform and DevOps, or software quality is preferred but not required.
