Base Salary
$147k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy embedded software on Linux and/or RTOS for board bring-up, verification, and debugging of automotive electronics.
- Write device drivers, develop software prototypes for hardware-software co-designs, create validation test cases in C and Python, and build SDKs.
- Debug issues in real time across software and hardware stacks and provide solutions for automotive electronics.
- Collaborate with multiple teams, peers, stakeholders, customers, and technical leaders to deliver quality code and resolve issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Experience programming in C; Python is a bonus.
- Good understanding of RTOS fundamentals and strong debugging skills.
- Experience using Lauterbach, oscilloscopes, JTAG, and flashing tools.
- Experience with a scripting language such as Python or shell.
- Preferred: understanding of SPI, I2C, Ethernet, and PCIe protocol stacks and board bring-up.
- Preferred: knowledge of OS internals including process scheduling, memory management, concurrency, synchronization, and storage.
- Preferred: experience with electronic test equipment and embedded toolchains including compilers, linkers, and linker scripts.
