Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of SAP technical solutions across WRICEF objects in complex SAP Tax & Revenue Management environments.
- Act as the technical authority for SAP development, solution ownership, engineering excellence, quality, performance, and governance.
- Collaborate with architects, functional leads, business stakeholders, and clients to define scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Drive adoption of S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and cloud extension approaches.
- Lead, mentor, and develop SAP technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Conduct design reviews, architecture assurance, and code quality governance.
- Translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes and support solution shaping, client workshops, and business development.
- Champion SAP best practices and continuous improvement across the SAP capability.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in SAP ABAP, including ABAP Objects, WDA, BRF+, Workflow, NetWeaver Gateway Services, and integration.
- Strong S/4HANA development experience, including S/4 Migration, CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, code pushdown, and HANA-optimised development.
- Experience designing and governing complex SAP solutions across large enterprise landscapes.
- Experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and OData services.
- Exposure to SAP BTP, Integration Suite, and cloud-based extension frameworks.
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture, security, and performance optimisation.
- Exposure to SAP Tax & Revenue Management, PSCD, and related SAP modules.
- Knowledge of FI, CRM, and HR processes and end-to-end business data flows.
- Expertise in ECC and/or S/4HANA transformation programmes.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams, influence architecture decisions, and mentor SAP professionals.
- Strong stakeholder management, consulting, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex challenges in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Successful applicants must obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance and must have resided continuously in the UK for the last five years.
