Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to refine requirements, evaluate tradeoffs, and translate objectives into technical solutions.
- Lead technical discovery, solutioning, estimation, and delivery recommendations for assigned initiatives.
- Own technical decisions and drive alignment across Engineering, Product, QA, and other cross-functional teams.
- Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable full-stack software through production implementation and support.
- Review pull requests, maintain code quality, and promote engineering best practices.
- Mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and serve as a primary escalation point for blockers.
- Lead medium to large initiatives and contribute to application architecture decisions.
- Troubleshoot, fix bugs, upgrade, and modify existing applications.
- Create and maintain system documentation, flowcharts, layouts, and diagrams.
- Evaluate new technologies and vendor packages and make recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, CIS, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Technical Lead, Lead Engineer, Staff Engineer, or in an equivalent technical leadership role.
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, React, C#, .NET, and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server and tools such as SSMS.
- Experience with Visual Studio, Git, CI/CD, unit testing, user interface design, and browser-based debugging.
- Experience building and consuming microservices through REST APIs and using tools such as Postman.
- Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity and code quality and helping engineers adopt effective AI-assisted development practices.
- Experience leading solution design, requirements refinement, engineering estimation, and application architecture evolution.
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading through technical influence.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, independent decision-making, and stakeholder-influence skills.
- Ability to balance delivery speed, technical quality, scalability, maintainability, performance, and business needs.
- Experience with TypeScript is desired.
