Responsibilities

  • Own enterprise finance AI architecture across data ingestion, LLM inference, RAG, agent orchestration, API gateways, and front-end interaction.
  • Design LLM, RAG, vector database, prompt engineering, tool-calling, agent workflow, evaluation, explainability, and guardrail strategies.
  • Integrate AI capabilities with finance platforms including SAP, BPC, Hyperion, Group Reporting, BlackLine, FloQast, Snowflake, and Azure Fabric.
  • Re-architect accounting, close, PTP/OTC, consolidation, reporting, tax, treasury, compliance, and audit processes as AI-native workflows.
  • Lead the complete delivery lifecycle from requirements and proof-of-value through MVP, pilot, production deployment, and global rollout.
  • Establish production delivery standards covering release management, A/B testing, canary deployment, rollback, monitoring, data lineage, and audit readiness.
  • Design predictive analytics and AI reporting solutions including reconciliation automation, cash-flow forecasting, anomaly detection, risk assessment, and narrative reporting.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery squads across US, EMEA, and APAC, conduct technical reviews, resolve engineering blockers, and mentor team members.
  • Create reusable SQL, DAX, and AI-agent templates and train finance super-users across Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and FP&A.
  • Engage CFOs, controllers, and finance directors to define ROI, communicate architecture, and drive adoption across the financial value chain.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in finance transformation, accounting operations, finance BI, or finance-system implementation.
  • At least 3 years of direct exposure to Group or Regional CFO or Corporate Controller stakeholders.
  • 6+ years of software engineering or solution architecture experience with production-grade LLM, generative AI, agent, or RAG solutions; proof-of-concept-only experience is insufficient.
  • Deep understanding of LLM capabilities, RAG architecture, prompt engineering, function calling, agent orchestration, and model evaluation.
  • Hands-on experience designing scalable, secure, maintainable enterprise AI architectures involving APIs, data ingestion, vector databases, IAM, observability, and cloud-native deployment.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power Query, DAX, asynchronous processing, distributed systems, backend development, and data modeling.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP FICO, BPC, Group Reporting, BlackLine, or FloQast data models.
  • Two or more end-to-end deployments of global management-reporting, accounting automation, or AI platforms in Fortune 500 environments.
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI, machine learning, or generative AI across the financial value chain from data pipelines and feature engineering through production visualization.
  • Working knowledge of SOX, GDPR, China data-export regulations, enterprise data privacy, security, and responsible AI requirements.
  • Professional-level English is required; Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus.
  • Preferred qualifications include CPA, CMA, ACCA, PMP, Scrum Product Owner, TOGAF, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, cloud or AI architecture certifications, and experience with listed cloud, data, AI infrastructure, and observability platforms.
  • Preferred background includes manufacturing, retail, or high-tech supply chain finance, plus published articles or conference speaking on finance digitalization or enterprise AI architecture.
