Base Salary

$75k - $156k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and operate secure, automated GitLab CI/CD pipelines for embedded and flight software.
  • Develop algorithms, analyze designs, and execute software tests for performance, functionality, and compliance.
  • Implement reproducible builds, integrated security controls, policy-as-code, and compliant delivery in constrained and air-gapped environments.
  • Support cross-compilation, RTOS platforms, containerization, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and software supply-chain security.
  • Prepare technical documentation, procedures, reports, drawings, manuals, and other deliverables.
  • Communicate with customers and stakeholders about requirements, designs, and deliverables.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive solutions to complex problems with limited direction.
  • Suggest process and application improvements based on quantitative data and results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Software Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency with GitLab pipelines, runners, and package registry; Python; Bash; and C/C++.
  • Experience with GCC/Clang, Yocto, Buildroot, VxWorks, FreeRTOS, Zephyr, Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Experience with software supply-chain security, including SAST/DAST/SCA tools, SBOMs, and artifact signing.
  • Familiarity with Linux hardening, FIPS environments, PKI/TLS, and delivery to classified or disconnected systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance; Secret Clearance is preferred.
  • Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies, collaborate across disciplines, communicate effectively, and balance competing tasks.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.
