Responsibilities
- Develop Linux kernel and application software for embedded solutions.
- Develop and integrate device drivers into complete embedded systems.
- Configure and customize the Linux kernel and device tree.
- Implement file operations, system calls, interrupt management, memory management, power management, and synchronization mechanisms.
- Perform performance analysis for time-critical modules such as touch systems.
- Use Git for rebasing, commits, patch creation, rule checking, and mainlining kernel modules.
- Integrate basic communication protocols into drivers, including UART, I2C, and SPI.
- Debug and troubleshoot embedded Linux systems across different processor platforms.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- BE or ME degree in Electronics.
- Strong knowledge of Linux internals, C programming, and shell scripting.
- Proficiency with the Yocto build environment and cross-compilation toolchains.
- Experience developing device drivers and knowledge of Linux kernel development processes.
- Experience with Git-based kernel development and patch workflows.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with touch/display drivers, network and Wi-Fi drivers, U-Boot, secure boot and signing, multimedia, or graphics is an advantage.
