Software Engineer - Taxes

- Develop and evolve backend APIs, jobs, workers, and services in Go.
- Build REST integrations and synchronous and asynchronous processing flows.
- Own the complete delivery lifecycle from problem understanding and solution design through development, testing, deployment, observability, and production monitoring.
- Design resilient, scalable, and performant distributed and event-driven architectures using queues, streams, and asynchronous processing.
- Work with data, integrations, and storage using MySQL, BigQuery, Redis, Object Storage, and NoSQL technologies.
- Ensure quality, security, and reliability through testing, code reviews, CI/CD, observability, architectural best practices, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
- Apply generative AI tools, including Claude, Codex, and coding agents, for scaffolding, reviews, implementation, and test generation.
Requirements
- Practical experience developing backend services and HTTP/REST APIs with Go.
- Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous communication, queues, retries, idempotency, and distributed processing.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
- Knowledge of Git, code review, and CI/CD.
- Ability to develop readable, maintainable, testable, and observable code.
