Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud architectures using AWS services for strategic enterprise customers.
- Provide architectural leadership for highly available, scalable, performant, secure, and cost-optimized applications and infrastructure.
- Guide customers through cloud adoption, workload migration, and implementation of advanced cloud-based solutions.
- Lead technical discussions with Enterprise Architects, Technical Architects, Cloud Architects, directors, vice presidents, and CXOs.
- Drive customer-specific AWS adoption strategies and revenue growth as a trusted technical advisor.
- Partner with AWS services teams, marketing, professional services, and executive management.
- Evangelize AWS innovations and best practices across infrastructure, engineering, and application design.
- Mentor peers and customers and support knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in application or infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
- At least 10 years of experience architecting or operating solutions on cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture and software development tools and methodologies.
- Preferred: 7+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience or AWS Professional-level certification.
- Preferred: experience leading architecture and design for new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Preferred: 10+ years of experience designing and implementing large distributed systems with deep expertise in core infrastructure, solution architecture, and distributed computing patterns.
- Preferred: professional pre-sales consulting experience, presentation skills, executive engagement, and communication with stakeholders at all levels.
