Responsibilities

Work as a member of an SRE team.
Review application requirements and recommend solutions and common design patterns.
Simplify development and infrastructure provisioning workflows.
Configure and deploy cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CI tools.
Continuously learn about new and relevant technologies.
Influence other developers and advocate for best practices.
Implement dashboards, monitoring, and alerting for team services.
Support users in person or via Slack.

Experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience building and deploying containerized applications and services.
Enjoy automating manual tasks.
Comfortable working in agile environments and iterating quickly.
Strong collaboration and communication skills with diverse team members.
Bonus: Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, or Docker.
Bonus: Familiarity with database design and tuning, especially AWS Aurora MySQL and Postgresql.
Bonus: Familiarity with data workflow orchestration tools like Composer and Dataproc.
Bonus: Proficiency with Bash and a programming language such as Python, Ruby, or Golang.
Bonus: Previous experience in the healthcare sector and knowledge of compliance frameworks like HIPAA.
