Base Salary
$220k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve enterprise-scale automation frameworks for APIs, web UI, and backend services.
- Define automation strategies and roadmaps for Saviynt’s Identity Security platform and its IGA, PAM, AAG, ISPM, NHI, RBAC, and secrets-management capabilities.
- Lead adoption of AI-powered developer and testing tools to improve test generation, maintenance, diagnostics, and engineering productivity.
- Drive functional, regression, performance, security, resiliency, and accessibility testing.
- Integrate automation and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code workflows.
- Partner with Engineering and SRE teams to identify coverage gaps, reliability risks, and release-quality metrics.
- Conduct technical reviews and mentor global QE teams while championing an automation-first culture.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Principal SDET, including at least 1 year in an architect or technical leadership role.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Amazon Q Developer, or Cursor.
- Strong experience designing scalable test automation frameworks with tools such as Playwright, PyTest, Robot Framework, or Karate.
- Strong programming skills in Java and Python; Groovy is a plus.
- Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed cloud systems across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD systems such as Jenkins and GitLab CI and build tools such as Maven and Gradle.
- Experience with database validation, test data management, and large-scale automation.
- Knowledge of performance testing with JMeter or Gatling.
- Familiarity with security and accessibility testing, including SAST, DAST, WCAG, and axe-core.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
