Responsibilities
- Translate application designs and technical requirements into code for microservices and web applications.
- Develop, test, implement, and maintain secure, stable, testable, and maintainable applications.
- Perform application systems analysis, programming, feasibility analysis, estimation, and implementation of new or revised systems.
- Support digital applications, middleware, mainframe and non-mainframe applications, analytical model development, and application operations.
- Analyze system architecture, dependencies, runtime properties, business requirements, customer use cases, and support strategies.
- Participate in system design, build, performance, implementation, and application documentation discussions.
- Build and maintain development schedules that account for dependencies, constraints, delivery approaches, and contingencies.
- Coordinate feature prioritization and consensus with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
- Improve development processes, productivity measurement, code quality, performance, unit testing, and build processing through CI/CD automation.
- Assess and manage technology and business risks while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, laws, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in an applications development role.
- Strong expertise in Java, microservices, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with databases and UI technologies such as Angular or React is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with current AI tools and trends.
- Experience running high-traffic, distributed, cloud-based services.
- Experience affecting large-scale culture change and leading infrastructure programs.
- Experience working with third-party service providers.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, written, oral communication, execution, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
