Responsibilities
- Develop test strategies, test designs, test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.
- Build and maintain automated component, system integration, regression, backward compatibility, and performance tests.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and execute automated and manual test suites before production releases.
- Test large-scale API, web, and mobile application interfaces and ensure overall system quality and performance.
- Report defects, manage them through resolution, and collaborate with development and other teams to improve product quality.
- Improve and simplify testing processes and methodologies.
- Provide training, mentorship, and support to quality engineering team members.
- Support risk management and the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience developing software or test automation frameworks using two of Java, Ruby, Node.js, or Objective-C; Java is preferred.
- Experience with software development and monitoring tools including GitLab, Git, Eclipse, Android Studio, Xcode, Bamboo, Harness, Splunk, or AppDynamics.
- Experience with CI/CD and integrating automated testing.
- Experience implementing test automation frameworks for API, web, or mobile platforms using tools such as Appium, Selenium, WebDriver, Rest-Assured API, or Cucumber.
- AWS or cloud experience and Kubernetes experience.
- Experience with automated and performance testing for REST and XML/SOAP/JSON-based services is preferred.
- Mobile programming experience with Android or iOS/Swift is preferred.
- Experience with device cloud providers such as BrowserStack, Perfecto Mobile, DeviceAnywhere, or Amazon Device Farm is preferred.
- Experience testing system/server-level software, networking, sockets, and protocols including HTTP, SIP, and REST services is preferred.
- Knowledge of performance/load testing and Agile/Lean methodologies is preferred.
