Base Salary
$109k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build infrastructure solutions and tooling for high scalability, reliability, and sub-second performance.
- Write code and scripts supporting infrastructure as code, configuration management, and automated incident resolution.
- Support and extend observability systems to capture and alert on issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations and act as an escalation contact for service incidents.
- Write system documentation, playbooks, and instruction manuals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Five to seven years of relevant work experience.
- At least three years of administration experience with Linux, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- At least three years of configuration-management experience using CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- At least three years of coding experience in higher-level languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS Solutions Architect Associate and Certified Kubernetes Administrator certifications.
