Base Salary
$109k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build infrastructure solutions and tooling for high scalability, reliability, and sub-second performance.
- Write code and scripts for infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and automated incident resolution.
- Support and extend observability systems to capture and alert on issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations and serve as an escalation contact for service incidents.
- Write system documentation, playbooks, and instruction manuals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- At least three years of Linux, AWS, and Kubernetes administration experience.
- At least three years of configuration management experience using CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- At least three years of programming experience in higher-level languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Strong problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification and Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification.
