Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
- Maintain and improve existing software applications for performance and reliability.
- Debug and optimize COBOL Mainframe legacy systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into technical solutions.
- Document software designs, processes, and code changes.
- Participate independently in team discussions and contribute solutions to work-related problems.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in COBOL Mainframe is required.
- Proficiency in COBOL Mainframe.
- Strong problem-solving skills focused on debugging and optimizing legacy systems.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development tools.
- Understanding of system integration and data flow in complex enterprise environments.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
