Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom software tools and techniques for the Android platform.
- Own requirements, design, implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and sustainment of software.
- Diagnose and debug issues using COTS/GOTS tools and internal frameworks.
- Apply networking concepts and protocols to tool development, including socket and packet-level programming.
- Produce documentation for operating, maintaining, and supporting delivered software.
- Mentor and guide junior developers.
- Respond to and solve time-sensitive, real-world cyber problems.
Requirements
- At least 10+ years of experience.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance and Full Scope Polygraph, or the ability to obtain one.
- Experience developing, testing, and debugging in Python and C.
- Experience building UNIX applications using make files or similar build environments.
- Experience developing CNO tools and techniques.
- Strong socket programming and packet-level understanding of IP, TCP, and application-layer protocols.
- Proficiency tracing execution with WinDbg, gdb, IDA Pro, or similar tools.
- Experience reverse engineering native binaries and developing proof-of-concept exploit software.
- Knowledge of OS internals, including runtime linker/loader concepts, object file formats, file-system internals, access-control mechanisms, and process/thread APIs and data structures.
- Understanding of ASLR, DEP, NX, mitigation bypass approaches, and methods to detect bypass attempts.
- Experience with version control such as git and GitLab.
- Preferred experience with native Android development or Android NDK, vulnerability analysis, ARM assembly, mobile security protections, Objective-C, Swift, and C++.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
