Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, enhance, and optimize custom software components across systems and applications.
- Design and optimize data pipelines and workflows within cloud environments.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, make team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Lead process improvements that increase team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project goals and delivery.
- Research and integrate technologies that support project objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data platforms.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience with distributed computing and big data processing frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to design and optimize data pipelines and workflows in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with programming languages used in data engineering and analytics.
- Competence in troubleshooting complex technical issues related to data platforms.
- 15 years of full-time education.
