Base Salary

$87k - $187k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Support a mix of Self-managed and GitLab.com (SaaS) customers through various communication channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product goals and drive fixes.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues using Linux systems and the GitLab codebase.
  • Create and update documentation based on customer interactions.
  • Partner with support team members to solve challenging cases.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for emergency support.
  • Contribute to improving support processes and tools.
  • Participate in hiring by reviewing applications and conducting interviews.

Requirements

  • Experience managing customer-facing technical cases from start to resolution.
  • Strong Linux systems administration knowledge comparable to LFCE or RHCE certification.
  • Ability to use scripting languages like Ruby or Bash and work with MVC frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD in production environments.
  • Skill in writing clear support content and documentation.
  • Ability to explain complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and technologies like Kubernetes.
  • Openness to learning and collaborating across teams.
