Responsibilities
- Design and develop a highly available and scalable storage engine for Kora.
- Drive engineering excellence and technical solutions end-to-end.
- Collaborate with product management and other engineering teams for seamless integration.
- Mentor junior engineers and shape the team's direction.
Requirements
- 12+ years of backend and/or infrastructure development experience.
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in Java, Scala, C/C++, Go, or other statically typed languages.
- Proven experience in designing large-scale distributed storage systems.
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems concepts like fault tolerance and scalability.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with excellent communication abilities.
