Base Salary
$190k - $206k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core platform infrastructure.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Own major architectural decisions and long-term technical direction.
- Build reusable platforms and AI-enabled tooling.
- Monitor and improve system reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure infrastructure security and compliance with best practices.
- Lead incident response and postmortem processes.
- Mentor and collaborate with engineers and tech leads.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Document infrastructure design and operational procedures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with complex cloud solutions using AWS.
- Skilled in provisioning and configuring cloud services with Terraform.
- Proficient in designing monitoring and log aggregation solutions.
- Solid understanding of data systems, including SQL and NoSQL.
- Experience in security and regulatory compliance environments.
- Comfortable with on-call support for 24/7 service availability.
- Passionate about mentoring and coaching engineers.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Deep expertise in designing systems for engineering efficiency.
- Ability to communicate technical strategy to management.
