Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and design software solutions for client-deployed operating systems or applications.
- Develop, modify, debug, and maintain software modules and processes.
- Automate software validation by creating and executing test cases, scenarios, and usage cases.
- Investigate system issues, perform root-cause analysis, troubleshoot queries, and recommend performance or availability improvements.
- Coordinate with functional teams, systems analysts, project managers, and engineering staff on software requirements and interfaces.
- Prepare code documentation, flowcharts, layouts, reports, project specifications, and status updates.
- Support continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, implementation, and release-plan adherence.
- Gather client requirements and clarifications, respond to customer requests, track faults, obtain feedback, and support customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Understanding of software requirements analysis, system flows, data usage, work processes, and the software development life cycle.
- Ability to design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain software applications.
- Ability to develop automated validation processes and execute software test cases.
- Ability to perform root-cause analysis, troubleshoot system issues, and evaluate software-hardware interfaces.
- Ability to communicate with clients and collaborate with cross-functional and engineering teams.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education, learn new programming languages, and complete assigned certifications.
