Responsibilities
- Specify, develop, and test IT infrastructure components for combat management, radar, and optical sensor systems.
- Perform requirements analysis, development, integration, testing, validation, and product demonstrations across the development chain.
- Develop software using Python and other programming languages as project needs require.
- Apply network engineering skills and integrate platform components with other teams and systems.
- Investigate and implement modern technologies and ways of working within Agile and DevOps teams.
Requirements
- Experience with Linux, such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Experience with network technologies including TCP/IP, UDP, FASTPATH, and IOS.
- Software development experience with languages such as Python, Bash, C, C++, and Java.
- Experience with Git-based source control, continuous integration tooling such as Jenkins, infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible, and container technologies such as Podman or Docker.
- Preferably, experience with Agile methodologies and related tooling such as Jira.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT service management, or an equivalent qualification.
- Fluent English communication skills with technical and management stakeholders.
- Flexibility, collaboration skills, and an interest in naval systems.
