Responsibilities
- Discover vulnerabilities in operating systems, software applications, and hardware devices through code auditing, black-box testing, and reverse engineering.
- Develop and enhance processes and tools for vulnerability discovery and triage.
- Research new vulnerability discovery techniques and processes.
- Develop proof-of-concept exploits and adapt or extend manual and automated analysis tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or an engineering field, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong reverse-engineering skills and experience with complex software applications or operating system components.
- Current knowledge of software vulnerabilities and experience discovering vulnerabilities in operating systems, software applications, or hardware devices.
- Knowledge of modern exploitation techniques and hands-on experience bypassing exploitation mitigation technologies through proof-of-concept exploit development.
- Experience using static and dynamic software analysis tools and techniques for reverse engineering and vulnerability discovery.
- Ability to adapt and extend existing manual or automated tools.
- Development experience in C/C++ or scripting languages such as Python or Ruby.
