Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Python and Django.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and technical specifications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code according to coding standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain database schemas, queries, and APIs.
- Troubleshoot application issues, resolve performance bottlenecks, and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms.
- Stay current with web-development trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of web-development experience as a Python Django Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Django, DRF, and related frameworks.
- Experience with database systems, SQL, and ORM libraries such as Django ORM and SQLAlchemy.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks such as React and Angular.
- Knowledge of version-control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot programming problems independently, adapt to changing requirements, and collaborate with teams of diverse technical backgrounds.
- Familiarity with Linux and strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
