Responsibilities
- Fix product bugs and deliver code changes to production.
- Investigate Cloud production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver solutions with extended development teams.
- Propose solutions to complex design problems and architectural changes.
- Support Sales, Technical Support, Customer Success, and Professional Services teams with customer POCs and implementation projects.
- Drive validation of future releases in staging for customer use cases and act as a gatekeeper for product release quality assurance.
- Partner with scrum teams and Product Management on feature design and product improvements.
- Maintain cross-functional communication about product updates and known issues.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of experience in a combination of software development and sustenance roles.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Go or Python on Unix/Linux or Windows.
- Strong programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design skills.
- Enterprise software experience and knowledge of threading, networking, disk I/O, data transformations, data integrity, systems management, systems administration, and monitoring.
- Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and technical presentation skills.
- B.Tech, B.E, M.E, or M.Tech in Information Technology or Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Experience with complex, scale-out distributed systems and cloud technologies, preferably AWS, is desirable.
- Exposure to Office 365, VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, file systems/NAS, and backup or storage domains is desirable.
