Base Salary
$240k - $315k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to understand startup requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and advise customers throughout adoption, deployment, and expansion.
- Lead technical evaluations and help startups develop frameworks to measure Claude performance for their use cases.
- Guide founders and startup engineering teams on technical architecture decisions and demonstrate Claude’s capabilities.
- Gather startup implementation insights and emerging deployment patterns for Product and Engineering feedback.
- Travel to customer sites, startup-focused events, and industry conferences for workshops, technical deep dives, and relationship building.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or technical founder with founder-led sales experience.
- Experience working with startups or high-growth technology companies.
- Software engineering or technical-founder experience demonstrating strong builder credibility.
- Deep technical proficiency building and scaling AI products, including hands-on production deployment of LLM-powered applications.
- Expertise in context engineering, evaluation frameworks, and modern AI architectures.
- Strong technical communication skills and the ability to translate complex AI concepts into actionable guidance.
- Track record of selling technical products in competitive markets.
- Comfort with Python and familiarity with common LLM frameworks, tools, and integration patterns.
- Passion for making powerful technology safe and societally beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field.
