Base Salary

$161k - $217k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning of software development tasks, including software design, coding, unit, integration, functional, and system testing.
  • Translate system-level requirements into traceable software requirements, models, design, code, and test artifacts.
  • Lead software system analyses, risk identification, mitigation actions, code reviews, verification, issue resolution, and deployment activities.
  • Monitor product and process alignment with project plans and industry standards, including internal team and supplier performance.
  • Mentor and coach junior software engineers.
  • Interface with various software programming languages and support solutions for space-based effects and air-domain missions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship; active TS/SCI is preferred.
  • At least five years of software engineering experience.
  • At least five years of experience with Java and/or C++ object-oriented programming.
  • At least three years of experience leading software development projects.
  • At least one year of MATLAB experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include a relevant engineering, science, mathematics, data science, or computer science degree with related experience, or 13+ years of directly related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 17+ years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred experience includes physics-based modeling, physics knowledge, DevSecOps, Git, GitLab, CMake, Linux, Windows, MATLAB Coder, and Agile software development.
